Ñawata is Mistress of the Horologists' Guild in Mekedé, the most famous Desert City. Her clockwork is quite possibly the finest in the world.
Ñawata's disdain for the Haiwalean Revolution is well known. In her view, unrest is bad for business, whatever its cause. This portrait, which hangs proudly in the Guildhall, says much about her viewpoint. Ñawata has chosen to be depicted staring down the Haiwa Lily, the symbol of Republican Revolution. The portrait's background evokes some of Ñawata's distinctive design work.
