Zaogo Poster

poster2

This poster focuses on Zaogo, a leading figure among the Aremgi people. The Aremgi have traditionally lived to the South of what was once Forest Friend land, and are famed for their skills as engineers. In fact, the very name "Aremgi" goes back to a root meaning "builders".

On the lower left is Galama, an older member of the Geleti. He is one of those who has continued to follow a traditional way of life, rather than move to a city. On the right is Camao, a genius musician from the Free State of Serao. Camao invented a new kind of piston, which has enabled trumpets to play in a much wider range. Their music is noted for its somewhat mysterious quality.
